Highlights of Meriton Festival Village include boylesque show Briefs: The Second Coming and free entertainment from The Hair Salon.
Briefs: The Second Coming
Fresh from sell-out seasons in Berlin and London and described as the love child of Ru Paul’s Drag Race and Cirque du Soleil, Briefs: The Second Coming is an Aussie cabaret of burlesque with balls. The headline event of Meriton Festival Village features the beautiful and bearded ringmistress, Shivannah in one the most outrageous variety shows. Expect a jaw dropping, eye popping evening of highly skilled acrobatics, extreme costume changes, extravagant birdbath boylesque, too close for comfort yo-yo tricks and more than one highly inappropriate banana. The six Aussies and one New Yorker bring a fierce blend of drag, glamour and athleticism, infused with dancing, tumbling, juggling, acro-balancing, trapeze, hula hooping, lip syncing, sequins, feathers and frocks to the stage.
Cost: $70- $80
